Vancouver’s legendary Roots Jam has moved after more than 20 years from the formerly glorious Railway Club to the beautiful Emerald Supperclub and Lounge in East side’s Chinatown (555 Gore St) Just as before their will be 4 revolving hosts: The Modelos’ Joe Rotundo, Mr. Mike Van Eyes, Jimmy Roy (Kelly Haigh, Ray Condo, etc.) and Scott Smith (Just A Season, Terminal Station, etc.).

We’re very proud that each of these wonderful hosts/musicians are involved with the Northern Electric label. Mike Van Eyes has an upcoming 2LP vinyl release called The Afterlife Sessions; Jimmy Roy is head Murderbird with songbird Kelly Haigh, who also has an upcoming release titled Post Apocalyptic Valentine (A beautiful hard cover book with stories, paintings and CD album); Scott Smith recently released his acclaimed Just A Season CD; and The Modelos are just finishing up their follow-up to Saddle Justice, which is currently sold-out.
