A few Northern Electric artists have entered the land of blogs recently – Rodney Decroo is tipping his hat to other poets and songwriters with his new Shining Like An Apple on Fire blog here. Rodney also has a Tumblr blog of with his own poems, songs and more here.
Meanwhile, David Newberry has teamed up with photographer Eric Newby for Newbsradio. This week’s episode takes a look at Music Piracy, check it out here.
And finally, Victoria’s David P. Smith has started a blog called Song of the Week. Here David performs/interprets a favourite song, usually with different guests and plunks up a video of said performance. So far he’s tackled Hank Williams. Herald Nix has contributed his songs to this summer’s outlaw comedy production by Caravan Farm Theatre, a renowned outdoor theatre company — The Notorious Right Robert & The Robber Bride. Herald Nix performs songs live each night alongside the performance. Tickets $21.50 to $36.00.
